PAladin drive V2 Manual
controls
Honestly, it’s dead simple.
Volume: Controls the overall output volume of the pedal.
Tone: A modified Big Muff-style tonestack. Clockwise from noon cuts bass frequencies and boosts high-end. Counter-clockwise from noon trims the treble and boosts low-end.
Gain: Controls the amount of gain in the circuit. Turn it all the way down on Si for for a dirty boost, LED for a cleaner boost, or max it for amp-like drive tones.
Diode Switch: Toggles between two sets of diodes.
Si: 4 1N914s for symmetrical silicon clipping - smooth and compressed, the stock clipping that came on the original Yamaha OD-10MII.
LED: 3 red LEDs for asymmetrical clipping - much louder and less compressed, completely clean on low gain settings.
